  1. Water kefir: dissolve sugar in water, add the grains, ferment 24-48 hours.
  2. Milk kefir: put the grains in milk, ferment about 24 hours.
  3. Strain both with a non-metal sieve: the drinks are ready.
  4. Keep in the fridge and start again. The grains are reused right away.
